Dirk founded DHR Partners in 2018, driven by his motivation to leverage his years of experience as a Compensation and Benefits specialist to help both large and small companies by offering tailor-made total reward services.
Trained in psychology and social law, Dirk began his career in Compensation and Benefits (C&B) at Hewitt CBC (now acquired by AON) and worked for over 25 years with various national and international organizations. He worked at General Motors and later at Johnson & Johnson, where he was responsible for the compensation policy of all Pharma R&D companies, with employees in 47 countries. As C&B Director at Delhaize, he not only took on responsibility for Compensation & Benefits but also for Payroll, HR Administration, HRIS, HR Analytics, Social Legal, and General Services. He managed a team of 83 employees and approximately 20 external consultants. After the merger with Ahold, he took on a group-level role at AholdDelhaize, overseeing Benefits and pensions.
His experience, combined with his honest character, analytical skills, and out-of-the-box thinking, make Dirk an expert in Reward Management. With great dedication, he will work with you to develop a new vision and strategy around compensation and play an active role in social relations within the organization.

Master in Social and Economic Sciences, with additional ManaMa degrees in Management and Philosophy, Martine is also a certified coach specializing in business coaching. She built her career in HR policy, where guiding and supporting people and organizations became her passion. After gaining expertise in various HR subfields, Martine assumed HR director responsibilities, focusing on vision and strategy.
For over 35 years, she has held HR-related leadership roles at national and international levels, in both the private and public sectors. Her wealth of knowledge is invaluable to the DHR Partners team and the clients and partners we collaborate with. In executive positions, Martine led transformation projects (Leroy Merlin Belgium, BASE Company), launched new businesses (IKEA, Leroy Merlin Russia), worked on process optimization, simplification, and the development of strong soft HR support structures (Delhaize, BASE Company, Enabel-Belgian Development Agency). She managed large teams and operates effectively at both the vision and strategic levels, as well as in the execution and implementation of HR projects. Additionally, she has significant experience in social dialogue.
Martine will support your organization through change processes, considering key challenges and the company's vision and strategy. She focuses on intensive teamwork and co-creation of improvements, relationship development with management and external partners, and conceptualizing and translating key trends into internal processes to build sustainable results and foster the healthy growth of your company.

Trained in Social Sciences and HR Management, with a specialization in Compensation & Benefits Management, Ivo began his career as a payroll consultant and quickly expanded his experience as an HR Services Manager and HR Business Partner. Over his 23-year career, Ivo has developed knowledge and expertise in HR project and process management, supporting business development, managing HR admin teams, and leading HR Business Partners. He gained this expertise in both SMEs and large enterprises.
The accumulated experience and expertise in various HR roles and sectors, ranging from Insurance to Industry, have led him, especially over the past 10 years, to HR leadership positions, often with an international dimension.
Ivo prefers to be described as an HR generalist, though with a particular affinity for HR metrics, analysis, policies, projects, and social relations. With his strong business acumen and can-do mindset, Ivo will support any organization in a professional and authentic manner.

With a Master's degree in HR Management, Gaetan began his career in Compensation & Benefits and Reward Management. Gaetan has worked for both national and international companies, building strong expertise in HR administration and payroll management, as well as in the development of salary strategies and policies with a focus on tax optimization and the integration of motivation and talent retention. Job functions, job classification systems, salary policies, and rewards hold no secrets for him. Over the course of more than 10 years, he has led various job classification projects and gained extensive knowledge of job evaluation and remuneration methods. Additionally, Gaetan has strong skills in HRIS and IT systems.
Gaetan is the 'go-to' expert when it comes to implementing a successful compensation policy. He supports you in translating your HR strategy into a Total Rewards policy and the associated processes. Gaetan works with you from identifying your needs to implementing and communicating the appropriate solutions.

Trained in orthopedagogy and social work, Liesbeth gained experience in supporting and guiding people in difficult situations, including victim assistance and grief counseling. Managing crisis situations and overseeing processes from start to finish were part of her responsibilities. Liesbeth has a strong drive to further shape her human talents within HR management. Today, Liesbeth is evolving into a strong operational support partner. She thrives on executive tasks, making her a reliable and indispensable support for the DHR Partners team and for our clients, our partners. She has gained experience in supporting HR administration (flex plans, building SharePoint sites, etc.) and managing social elections, continuously updating her knowledge and expertise.

Trained as a personnel worker, Ingrid began her HR career at Lineas, Europe’s largest private rail freight operator. Over 15 years, she gained experience in various HR domains, starting with HR Administration and Payroll, expanding to Compensation & Benefits and HR Analytics. Payroll and personnel administration management, budgeting and forecasting labor costs, and social dialogue are well-known areas of expertise for her. Additionally, HR IT systems are among Ingrid’s skills.

Dominique built her career as a self-made woman in payroll, compensation & benefits, and HRIS management. She began her career at Cera Investment Bank as a Senior Payroll Coordinator and in Compensation & Benefits Management, where she mastered the fundamentals of her field. She further expanded this expertise and made it available as a consultant to organizations, including SMEs and large companies, both in the private and public sectors, to the great satisfaction of her clients. Dominique has led projects in data and data analytics, HRIS system implementation, job evaluation and classification, introduction of flexible income plans, restructuring, and the implementation of reward plans. She is also skilled in social partner negotiations and is proficient in various payroll systems and HRIS programs.

After her studies in bio-engineering and business management with a specialization in marketing, Karine gained her first professional experience in Sales and Finance before discovering her true calling: HRM. Over the past decades, she has worked for companies in the financial and IT sectors, guiding them through significant business integrations and restructurings. She supported these companies in developing the necessary HR policies and designing and implementing Total Reward / Compensation & Benefits plans. As a Senior Consultant at Fiabilis Consulting Group, she became proficient in payroll taxation and tax optimization opportunities. With her expertise in managing employment costs, Karine is a valuable asset to our clients, helping to strengthen and optimize personnel management and its associated costs in the broadest sense. Karine is also highly skilled in HR information systems (HRIS). She is proficient in various payroll packages and their associated salary reporting tools.

With a Master's degree in Law, Johan began his career at the Antwerp Bar before expanding his knowledge and experience to encompass all aspects of people management in businesses. Over time, Johan further professionalized his expertise in HR Management while working for companies such as Bayer, Lanxess Rubber, Antwerp World Diamond Center, and Interferry Boats. There, he enriched his experience with HR Business Partner Management, strengthening HR processes, and developing and implementing HR Policies. Johan gained valuable experience in leading HR teams and supporting executive teams. He successfully completed several assignments as an HR Interim Manager in both SMEs and larger companies.
Johan complements the DHR Partners team with his capacity for HR Vision and Strategy, as well as his significant knowledge of Social Law, backed by extensive experience. Johan is also a certified coach.

We worked together with DHR Partners (Dirk Heirman) on a bigger project in the comp&ben and labor relations space. Dirk showed himself as a very knowledgeable and trusted advisor.
